Tech Vaults Warranty

At Tech Vaults, every refurbished MacBook is carefully checked, cleaned, tested, and prepared before dispatch. We want every customer to feel confident when buying from us, which is why your refurbished MacBook Pro 2013 comes with a 90-day limited hardware warranty from the date your order is delivered.

What's Covered

Our warranty covers hardware faults that were not caused by accidental damage, misuse, or customer modification. This includes issues with the MacBook's internal components, screen, keyboard, trackpad, ports, charging function, and general hardware performance.

If your device develops a covered fault within the warranty period, we will aim to repair the device first. If a repair is not possible, we may offer a replacement or suitable alternative depending on stock availability.

What's Not Covered

This warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, cracked screens, cosmetic wear, software issues, battery wear from normal use, damage caused by third-party repairs, or faults caused by misuse.

As these are refurbished devices, light signs of previous use may be present. Any cosmetic marks do not affect the performance of the MacBook and are not covered under warranty unless specifically stated.

Battery Notice

All batteries are tested before dispatch. However, because this is a refurbished MacBook, battery performance may vary depending on age, usage, settings, and charging habits. Battery wear is not covered unless the battery is faulty on arrival.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a claim, please email us with your order details, a description of the issue, and clear photos or videos where possible. We may ask you to complete basic troubleshooting steps before arranging a return.

Once we receive and inspect the device, we will confirm whether the issue is covered under warranty and advise the next step.

Your Consumer Rights

This warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not replace them. In the UK, customers may still have rights to a repair, replacement, or refund if goods are faulty or not as described. GOV.UK also states that customers can have the same right to free repairs or replacement regardless of whether a warranty has expired.
